Upper El Palmar Valley

With the snow-capped peak of Mount Teide 3,718 m (12,198 ft) in the distance.

The highest point in the near distance at the head of the valley is the Cruz de Gala peak, which, with an altitude of 1,354 meters is just 10 meters higher than Ben Nevis at 1,344 m (4,409 ft), the highest mountain in the British Isles.
