Icon Collection

Icon Collection

No, not the ones you've accumulated on your computer desktop ... These are just some of the many religious icons on display in the church of Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios in Buenavista del Norte. Since I am neither catholic, nor religious, I can't give tell you what any of them represents. The hammer and the grippers in the guy on the left's hands look kinda funny, but I can imagine some significance there, she says blasphemously, as the Patron Saint of Builders and D.I.Y. Enthusiasts, maybe? Can anyone tell me the significance of the chicken on the pedestal?

See where this picture was taken. [?]
