Tenerife weather one year ago ….

Visitors to the island on November 16th last year (or residents, for that matter) may remember the torrential rains that caused flooding on the north of the island. Particularly affected was the Barranco San Felipe in Puerto de la Cruz, which is shown in this video. Don't ask me whose bright idea it was to park cars in a – usually dry - river bed, but you can clearly see the consequences.

Fluent in Spanish and having spent 16 years on the island, Pamela Stocks has now been translating, researching and publishing information on customs and events in Tenerife for 25+ years. This takes a considerable amount of time and effort, for which she receives no payment whatsoever. If you find this work useful or interesting, please buy her a coffee. Buy Pamela Stocks a Coffee
