North Pole

North Pole

Stopping off for coffee at the Texaco gas station (one of the best cafes anywhere) along Tenerife's north coast on the way back from Christmas shopping, we had the chance to see their Christmas display: this delightful and amusing tableaux in a half igloo shaped tent on the garage forecourt, complete with polar bears and husky dogs pulling Santa's sleigh, which, curiously, seems to place the icy North Pole somewhere at the foot of Mount Teide. See where this picture was taken. [?]
