Tenerife weather today and tomorrow

Palms Blow in 100 Mile-Per-Hour Winds as Hurricane Wilma Hits Land

Skies in the Canary Islands today will be cloudy, with light rain, locally moderate in the islands of highest relief (Tenerife and La Palma, in particular) until the early hours of the afternoon.

Temperatures will be without change and the wind from the south west, is expected to be strong to very strong in the peaks of Tenerife.

Predictions from State Meteorological Agency, AEMET, say tomorrow the wind will blow from the south west, moderate to strong on the coasts, medium altitude locations and peaks and, will be more intense in the second half of the day.

[Still, it beats frost, snow and sub-zero temperatures, doesn’t it?]
