School dining halls to remain open at Easter and Christmas

The Canary Islands' Government launched an initiative to combat poverty
and social exclusion last year, and due to its success, the Language
Immersion Project is to be extended into Christmas and Easter holidays,
including the opening of school dining halls. The scheme is to be run by
the Education Department and the regional department for Social Policy,
and will be aided by the Red Cross.
