‘Fake contracts’ gang nabbed

NATIONAL police agents, working with Immigration and the Border Brigade, have arrested five people over the sale of fake work contracts.

A further six have been implicated in the investigation, which revealed that fake contracts were being sold for up to 2,000 euros each. Charges of forgery have been brought against those arrested.

The main person involved in "Operation Pinzón", developed in collaboration with the Provincial Labour Inspectorate and the Social Security's General Treasury, is a Spanish national.
