We’ll drink to this!

THERE have been drinking restrictions on the domestic water supply in several areas up North for some time.

That's because of excess levels of fluorine, a pale-yellow gas prevalent in areas where there are volcanoes.

Flouride is a fluorine compound, which can be added to the water supply to help prevent tooth decay. But it can have implications on health in excess.
