Inflation kept in check

THE Consumer Price Index (CPI) rose by just 0.1% year-on-year in June – one tenth of a point less than in May.

That’s the figure according to data published by the Spanish National Statistics Institute (INE).

This slight moderation in the rate of inflation corresponds mainly to foodstuffs and energy products.
