Gardens of Tenerife, Risco Bello Aquatic Gardens in Puerto de la Cruz

Going for long walks where there’s no shade is borderline madness in July and August. Which is where leafy gardens come in useful, enabling us enjoy nature’s gifts without getting seared like tuna on the barbie in the process.

Puerto de la Cruz is probably the number one spot on Tenerife for people who enjoy leisurely strolls through gardens. There are a few to chose from with Risco Bello, beside the former Hotel Taoro, being one of the more curious examples.
