Charity lunch to benefit Oliver Garcia

Oliver Garcia in the Murga Ni Pa Tanto.

Oliver Garcia is a young man, aged 23, from Santa Barbara (Icod de los Vinos) who was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy when aged 7.

Formerly, he was a well known rally driver, but has been forced to swap his rally car for a wheelchair. He attended Adeje Rally recently, maintaining an interest and a smile. He also forms part of the group of murgas Ni Pa Tanto in Icod.

Oliver needs to get to the municipal pool in Icod 2-3 times a week for rehabilitation, but cannot afford the taxi to get there, therefore, Ann Goulden is organising a lunch at an Italian Restaurante in Playa San Marcos on Saturday, 23rd April at 1.30pm. Tickets are 23€ for a fabulous Italian meal with wine and music and a draw of lucky numbered tickets.

More details and to book, contact Ann Goulden on the numbers shown on the poster below.
