Secret Tenerife On Hiatus

If only!

The regular reader may begin to notice shortly that this blog is on something of a hiatus. This is unfortunately necessary, due to ill health and other priorities. Whilst original blog posts will be reduced to a more occasional basis, news, weather and articles from other sources will continue to be shared, but via our Secret Tenerife Facebook Page.

Like and follow us on Facebook, or follow us Twitter to stay up-to-date.

Meanwhile, I’ve been working behind the scenes to consolidate and cross-refer existing information; to make the current material more easily accessible and ensure that information I’ve already produced on regular events will be made available at the appropriate times. You can keep up with that too, via Facebook.

Unlike so many journalists writing about the resorts, Pamela has not only actually been to Tenerife, she lived on the island for 16 years, for the majority of that time in a rural valley immersed in the local culture in a way that few outsiders have been privileged to do and gaining a wealth of knowledge about the island, its people, their customs, fiestas and celebrations that she is now able to share via this site. Fluent in Spanish, she also translated and reported for the various English-language newspapers.
