Jóvenes Cantadores and Pitingo, in concert, 20 May in the Valle de Guerra, La Laguna

The group Jóvenes Cantadores (literally, Young Singers) appear with Pitingo, in a concert taking place on Monday, May 20, starting at 9:00 p.m., in the Plaza de Valle de Guerra, and which is part of the program of events of the Fiestas of San Isidro Labrador and Santa Maria de la Cabeza.

Jóvenes Cantadores, formed in Tenerife, were discovered in 2008 by the director of the Televisión Canaria program "La Bodega de Julián", Elvis Sanfiel. The group has a total of twenty-four components with ages between 17 and 28 years. The vast majority are students of the University of La Laguna.

Pitingo, was born in Ayamonte, Huelva. Son of a fisherman, like his grandfather, and gypsy mother, he learned singing as a family. He is the creator of soulería, soul to the rhythm of bulería.
