Come to Santa Cruz this weekend

The Tenerife capital this weekend wants you to 'Ven a Santa Cruz' (Come to Santa Cruz), where there are numerous activities for all audiences. Both Saturday and Sunday with the seventh edition of the 'Actúa Santa Cruz', (more), the third edition of the 'Feria de Patchwork y Manualidades' (Patchwork and Crafts Fair), the 'Feria del Libro' (Book Fair), the art & craft exhibition 'Art Craft Market', in addition to children's workshops, parades and the varied commercial offer of the city.

Both on Saturday from 10.00 a.m. to 9.00 p.m., and on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the Plaza de España is the Patchwork and Handicrafts Fair, with workshops and exhibitions of the sewing and handicraft techniques of the Canary Islands. There will also be a display of vehicles by Automotor Canarias on Saturday, June 1, while on Sunday an exhibition of Kia Motor Arimotor will be installed.

In the Alameda del Duque de Santa Elena, both on Saturday and Sunday, from 10.00 to 20.00, will be the 'Art Craft Market' in which 50 artisans will exhibit jewelry products, crafts and pastry, among other items, with children's workshops, from 11.00 to 14.00 hours, and vehicles from Canary Automotive and Kia Motor Arimotor, from 11.00 to 19.00 hours.

Also, in the streets Nicolás Estévanez and El Clavel the vintage market 'Clavel Market' will be located, which will remain open both days from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

On Sunday, in Plaza de San Francisco, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., there will be a bouncy castle courtesy of the Central Zone association, while in Calle Castillo, on the corner with José Murphy, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., a children's workshop will be held. In addition, there will be a Los Simpsons parade from 12.00 to 12.45 hours on Calle Castillo, Plaza de La Candelaria, Duque Santa Elena and Calle Bethencourt Alfonso.

The Casa del Carnaval will remain open both days, from 10 a.m. to 6.30 p.m., with the exhibition of the winning costumes of the various Carnival 2019 contests.
