Romería de San Juanito, Tenerife Yoga Day 2019, Granadilla Rally, Ritmos del Mundo, Fiestas de San Juan in Puerto de la Cruz

Romeria San Juanito in Igueste, Candelaria

The Romería de San Juanito in Igueste, Candelaria, takes place from 5:30pm on Sunday 23 June 2019, according to the La Casa de Los Balcones. However, the Agenda for the month of June at Candelaria Town Hall (PDF) has these fiestas down for 24 June. If we get any further information to clarify this - I'd guess the town hall should know - we'll add it.

Tenerife Yoga Day 2019

The Centro Internacional de Ferias y Congresos (The International Centre for Trade Fairs and Congresses) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on Saturday 22 June, to mark International Day of Yoga, is hosting Tenerife Yoga Day 2019.

The main events of the program will take place on the 22nd, open to the general public, with which it is intended to disseminate the philosophy of yoga in all its meaning. During the day, which will take place from 9.00, various activities will take place such as musical acts, asana samples (postures), screenings and talks. There is also space for the explanation of the history of yoga, an area for practice, meditation, children's area and another area for people with disabilities and a gastronomic area with healthy eating. The event will be divided into two activities. From 08.00 to 11.00 hours, events are free with prior registration at www.Deportestenerife.com for the introduction to yoga; while from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Santa Cruz Yoga Day will be held, open to the public and free of charge.

Granadilla Rally 2019

Saturday 22 June 2019 sees the main events of the 28th Villa de Granadilla Rally taking place between 9:30am and 7pm. Friday will serve to carry out the technical-administrative checks at the Granadilla de Abona Sports Pavilion while the exit ceremony will take place as last year, at El Médano pier. Two new sections will be held on Friday June 21 at night, El Rio - Chimiche of 9.9 km and Atogo - Charco del Pino of 8.1 km. On Saturday sections in Arico of 7.5 km, La Cisnera Granadilla of 11.2 km, Martela - Fronton of 16.1 Km and Atogo 6.5 km.

Saturday 22 June, from 3pm to midnight, at Golf Costa Adeje is the 11th Edition of the Ritmos del Mundo Festival (Rhythms of the World Festival). With 5 stages and more than 30 artists including Will Wake, Nic Fanciulli, Waff, Jillonaire of major Lazer, cesqeaux, Juicy M, DJ2D2, Brina Knauss, Holly goof, Tom Staar, Héctor Couto, Conjurer, Jairo Delli, Drummer, Bobby Bob, Juana La Cubana, Roger S. Saturday June 22

From 7:00 pm - Decoration of the public water fountains, with fruits, vegetables and branches.

Sunday, June 23

Batucada (drumming) and the usual pyromusical show, will also feature the performances of Macaco, one of the most important musical formations in Spain, and Mestisay. The night will end with the usual lighting of the bonfires on the beach of Punta Brava.

Monday, June 24

Flocks guided by the goatherds will parade once more through the ravines until they reach the Puerto de la Cruz coast, to carry out the rite of purification of the animals in the fishing wharf.
