Tenerife Symphony Orchestra offers second online concert during COVID-19 quarantine

Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, in other times, outside the Auditorio de Tenerife

The Tenerife Symphony Orchestra, is to offer this Friday, April 17, its second online concert during the quarantine. It will consist of three prerecorded works: Benjamin Britten's “Fanfare for St. Edmundsbury,” performed by the trumpet section; The variations composed by Ludwig van Beethoven on “La ci darem la mano” by Don Giovanni de W.A. Mozart ”, by the oboe section; and, “Our Mission from Tenerife to the world” The Mission (Gabriel’s oboe) by Ennio Morricone, which will be performed by the strings and percussion sections, with the participation of Tamsin Cadman (oboe) and Casandra Van Rodríguez.

The concert will start at 7:30 p.m., and can be seen through the Facebook and Instagram pages of the Sinfónica de Tenerife.

The first concert by the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra on social networks occurred on April 3 and featured works by Tschaikovsy, Séverac and Beethoven, prerecorded by the musicians from their homes.
