Rituals and Spells for the Night of Saint John according to your horoscope

Crowds on the Playa Jardín in Puerto de la Cruz on the Eve of San Juan in other times

With no bonfires or mass gatherings on beaches this year, here's some alternative fun for the Noche de San Juan (Night of Saint John), one of the most magical nights of the year. It's celebrated on the night of June 23-24, and the first reason that makes it special is that it is the shortest night of the year, but the night of San Juan is magical for many other reasons. It's considered the official opening of summer, it's midsummer's eve, when we change season and it's the night of making wishes. Jumping over bonfires, bathing in the sea at midnight, etc., are just some of the rituals performed on this special night. The traditions and rites that revolve around the night of San Juan are very diverse and, are celebrated differently in various locations. Similarly, it is said, each astrological sign, with its own particular characteristics, experiences it in a different way and intensity.

How Does Each Sign Live the Night of Saint John?

Aries (21 Mar - 19 Apr)
Is a rather pragmatic and rational sign, however, this night is different. It's a night in which his melancholy awakens and his thoughts flow to remembering moments from the past.

Taurus (20 Apr - 20 May)
How could it be otherwise, one of the most romantic signs lives tonight with special intensity. He especially relates it to the partner and love, and performs rituals to attract love and have a relationship for life.

Gemini (21 May - 20 Jun)
Is a very superstitious sign. That night he jumps the bonfires, bathes at 00:00h, writes down his wishes on a piece of paper ... all the rites to prevent a year of bad luck from starting.

Cancer (21 Jun - 22 Jul)
He does not recognize that he is concerned because this is a sign that does not show what he feels. Timid and withdrawn, the Cancerians live the night of San Juan in silence, but without missing a detail and carrying out all the traditions.

Leo (23 Jul - 22 Aug)
The night of San Juan is a moment of purification for Leo. They believe that bad energies are leaving that night, and they are filled with hope and positivity to start a new season.

Virgo (23 Aug - 22 Sep)
They care about others a lot. On nights like that of San Juan, all their wishes are focused on the good for those around them. They are afraid of loneliness and worry about always having someone by their side. They live the night with those they love the most.

Libra (23 Sep - 22 Oct)
Especially tonight, Libras want to have a love for life. On the Night of Saint John, when it seems that everything is flowing and the wishes come true, the Libras focus their thoughts and rituals on this end.

Scorpio (23 Oct - 21 Nov)
Solstices are moments of reflection for this sign. They live the changes as a period. Like a change of stage. The night of San Juan for them is letting go of what they have lived through these months and new start, with optimism, for the following.

Sagittarius (22 Nov - 21 Dec)
Is one of those that follows the traditions and rites to the letter. He likes to organize everything in time and live the night of San Juan with great intensity. They prepare everything that's needed so that it goes as planned.

Capricorn (22 Dec - 19 Jan)
A night of nostalgia for this sign. They remember loved ones and believe that it is a night to enter into spiritual contact with them. They are family-orientated people who do not forget.

Aquarius (20 Jan - 18 Feb)
Water, how could it be otherwise, is the main element for them tonight. At 00:00h they bathe in the sea (or in a river or lake, wherever they are) to ask for their wishes to come true for the most magical night.

Pisces (19 Feb - 20 Mar)
Likes risk and lives this night with enthusiasm. Jumping bonfires, making wishes, and always having faith that what's coming will be better than what has gone before, viewing the change of season with optimism.
