The Ritz-Carlton, Abama in Guía de Isora, Tenerife, reopens its doors on July 24

The Ritz-Carlton, Abama (Tenerife)

The Ritz-Carlton, Abama reopens on July 24 with a new concept of accommodation, specially designed to ensure the well-being and privacy of its guests this season: Villa Club; a set of 'casitas' (small houses), with a total of 144 rooms and suites, distributed in private areas surrounded by botanical gardens, a golf course and views of the ocean.

This new concept guarantees social distancing thanks to its large spaces, the characteristics of the natural environment where the hotel is located on the west coast of Tenerife and the personalized attention of a brand such as The Ritz-Carlton, belonging to Marriott International.

Deluxe rooms (double or triple) and one-bedroom suites are spread across four streets of villas divided into two floors known as 'casitas' (small houses). Each street of villas has its own pool, providing a personalized and semi-private stay. Each of the streets of villas provides access to its own private pool, to the infinity pool of El Mirador and, in the month of August, the Swimming Pool El Lago will be added, located in the hotel's Citadel.

Club Villas offers various services to families with children such as Ritz-Kids, with games and activities for children and adolescents, or the Cycling Friendly center, a bicycle rental service and tailor-made experiences for guests. Groups of adults or couples staying at The Ritz-Carlton, Abama will be able to enjoy the Adults-Only villas section, as well as gastronomic experiences.

Upon arrival, all guests will receive a welcome gift from the hotel manager, as well as a press service. Each guest will also receive two Wellness Experience passes to access The Ritz-Carlton, Spa and will be able to enjoy sunbeds and umbrellas on Abama beach.

Each street of villas will have a Villa Ambassadors team, in charge of satisfying all the needs and wishes of guests throughout the day. In addition, guests can enjoy complimentary beverages and canapes in the pool areas and Villa Club Lounge.

The restaurant of Japanese cuisine Kabuki, by chef Ricardo Sanz, as well as Txoko, the restaurant of traditional cuisine of Martin Berasategui that will move its location to the El Lago area, will open its doors from the month of August, to guests from the hotel and visitors to the island at that time.

Guests can also taste dishes, inspired by the local gastronomy of the island, in the terramar concept of chef César González El Mirador, while enjoying views of the sea and the island of La Gomera. Likewise, the hotel's Beach Club returns under a concept designed to equally seduce the local Tenerife public who travel to Abama beach; a chill-out beach bar that will extend its service hours offering a wide variety of dishes and creative cocktails to enjoy in its hammock area.

Under the strict standards of the new Cleaning Commitment created by Marriott International, The Ritz-Carlton, Abama has implemented new cleaning protocols that further reinforce its demanding standards: new technologies that reduce contact to ensure complete safety of guests and employees, Check in and Check out through the Marriott Bonvoy application, opening of the door of the room through the same system or the possibility of making any request through an interactive chat service with hotel employees. Additionally, upon arrival at the hotel, each guest will receive a personal protection kit that contains a mask, hydroalcoholic gel and a pair of gloves.
