The modifications mostly affect hotel and restaurant premises

The Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) has included a series of corrections after detecting "errors" in the new measures announced on Friday by the regional government to stop the advance of COVID-19 in Tenerife, as reported by the Ministry of Health.

The modifications affect, to a greater extent, commercial establishments and hotel and catering establishments, although it also includes changes in the work environment, pleasure boats, leisure and recreation that you can consult at the following link [in Spanish].

With regard to the interior areas of hotel-catering establishments, the subsections of maximum occupancy of 1/3 of the authorized capacity are eliminated and the complete closure of the establishment or premises at 11.00 p.m.

After the changes, the maximum occupancy is of four people per table and the distance of two meters between adjacent table chairs both on terraces and in indoor areas. The prohibition of consuming at the bar is maintained. The authorized capacity in these premises and commercial establishments will be 50% and not 1/3.
