Reggae Can Festival Special Online Edition

Reggae Can Festival 100% Online

Reggae Can Festival returns with a special edition with a week full of online content from December 14 to 19, through the festival's channels on Facebook and YouTube, you will be able to enjoy concerts and workshops that will bring the energy and messages of Reggae music to our homes. An innovative proposal adapted to the new reality, with six days of activity that will culminate on Saturday 19 with concerts by Ruts & La Isla Music, Dactah Chando, Eclipse Reggae, Lot Acosta and Lava Sound.

The slogan for this edition, "With our feet on the ground", is one more action of the 'Rompen las Olas' program, dedicated to raising awareness about the preservation of nature.

This very special edition of the Reggae Can Festival will feature 100% Canarian artists with some of the leaders of the genre on the islands. Artists with a long professional career such as Ruts & La Isla Music, led by the voice of Ruth Barreto who is accompanied by great musicians to create a staging full of energy, passion, strength and sweetness in equal measure. Dactah Chando, the Canarian reggae artist with the greatest international career of the moment, thanks to his 7 studio albums and numerous tours in Europe and Latin America. Eclipse Reggae, one of the most veteran bands of the genre in the Canary Islands with more than twenty years on stage. Lot Acosta, emerging singer from the Tenerife scene who has recently released his first album Mundo Loco; and Lava Sound, led by selector Javadub, one of the most active on the Canarian scene.

Once more, Reggae Can Festival promotes, encourages and makes visible reggae made in the Canary Islands, and therefore, a part of our culture that has three decades of history. Throughout its six editions they have managed to form a professional and quality showcase for both new and experienced creators of the archipelago, in which they can show their artistic work, thus enhancing their creative work and facilitating its dissemination.
