Today, Friday 5 February, the Comedy Song Contest should have taken place, but of course, because of the COVID pandemic, carnival will not be taking place. This year virtual carnival events take place between 17 February and 7 March, culminating in a television gala, ‘Santa Cruz, Corazón del Carnaval’ (Santa Cruz, Heart of Carnival). Comedy is perhaps one of the last things one understands of a language, so this probably won't be for all, but below is the coverage of the contest from last year for your entertainment.
