Christmas returns to Adeje in 2021

Adeje Council through the Culture area, chaired by María Clavijo Maza, has produced a program of Christmas activities for this year (adhering to all the health restrictions in force). Complete information, purchase of tickets (where required), as well as pertinent COVID measures are detailed on the municipal website.

“It is about recovering a bit of daily life in the celebration of these very endearing festivals, trying to rescue the customs that we have had to paralyze given the pandemic. All activities will be adjusted to the current epidemiological level and we hope that this year we can have a closer Christmas”, explained Clavijo Maza.

The events began on November 29 with the opening of the Advent store, followed by the blessing of the Nativity Scene, which can be visited free of charge in the Plaza de España.

Nativity scenes are once again protagonists; Armeñime unveil theirs, on December 10, which will be located outside the Cultural Centre of the neighbourhood and on the 19th the children of the parish will perform the traditional living nativity play.
