Fiestas of San Antonio Abad 2022 in Arona

With Tenerife currently at level 4 of the COVID restrictions, the program for the Fiestas of San Antonio Abad 2022 in Arona are cut down to suit the circumstances. From usually having the first on the calendar of romerías in Tenerife, celebrations are restricted to the following:

FRIDAY, JANUARY 14

12:00 to 13:30 hours: Raising the flag of the municipality of Arona announcing the beginning of the festivities. Cruz de San Antonio.

7:00 pm: Confessions. San Antonio Abad Parish.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 15

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Holy Mass. San Antonio Abad Parish.

SUNDAY, JANUARY 16

10:30 to 11:00 hours: Prayer of the Holy Rosary.

11:00 to 12:00 hours: Holy Mass in Honor of Saint Anthony the Abbot, enlivened by the singing of the parish choir. During the mass, offerings of non-perishable food may be made. San Antonio Abad Parish.

MONDAY, JANUARY 17

6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.: Prayer of the Holy Rosary.

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.: Mass in honor of San Antonio Abad. San Antonio Abad Parish.

At the end: Fireworks display in the Plaza del Santísimo Cristo de la Salud

The capacity of the parish church of San Antonio Abad is 70 people (LEVEL 4)
