San Antonio Abad Buenavista del Norte 2022

As with other locations on the island, the town of Buenavista del Norte is once again this year without the annual livestock fair and romería in honour of San Antonio Abad (Anthony the Abbot). This year the seriously slimmed down Program of events San Antonio Abad 2022 includes:

Saturday January 29th at 8:00 p.m. Festival with the Folkloric Group "Menceyes de Daute" and the dance corps "Tajaraste" in the Plaza de Los Remedios. However, places [inevitably limited] had to be reserved via WhatsApp with, it appears, preference given to local inhabitants.

And on Sunday, January 30th at 11:30 a.m. Holy Mass in honor of San Antonio Abad sung by the Baracán Folklore Group, at Nuestra Señora de Los Remedios (Our Lady of Los Remedios Parish Church).
