The 'Dreamer Market' returns to the Camino Largo de La Laguna

La Laguna hosts a new edition of 'Dreamer Market' between August 5 and 7

This event brings together 50 Canarian brands that will offer fashion, art and crafts, and is complemented by activities and gastronomy

The Camino Largo de La Laguna will be the scene of the new edition of 'Dreamer Market', an event that will be held on August 5, 6 and 7 and that will bring together 50 Canarian brands in this characteristic space of the municipality that will offer the public products as varied as fashion, accessories and natural cosmetics. Canarian creators will focus the offer of this commercial showcase in the form of a pop up store, where you can also find a wide range of music, leisure and gastronomy.

The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, values ​​this type of initiative, which raises the quality of the commercial, gastronomic, cultural and leisure offer of the city. In addition, he points out that "from the local Corporation we want to show our support for all those entrepreneurs who are innovating to create local, sustainable products adapted to the needs of consumers and the environment."

The Councillor for Culture of the City Council of La Laguna, Yaiza López Landi, highlights the importance of holding this type of activity which, "in addition to publicizing the work of Canarian firms and professionals, which make a contribution to our local economy, also they generate a varied and rich cultural proposal that the La Laguna residents will be able to enjoy". "Activities such as the 'Dreamer Market' are a new attraction for the municipality, by bringing together a complete commercial, cultural and leisure program in the same space," she adds.

“From the Culture area, we always try to support all those projects that are of interest to citizens and that, in addition, allow us to discover projects that have arisen in the Archipelago and led by people from the Canary Islands,” she explains. In this case, "in 'Dreamer Market' we will also have the opportunity to meet brands that have sustainability as the central axis of their work, a goal towards which we are heading in all municipal areas," she adds.

'Dreamer Market' will be held in the surroundings of the Castle of the Camino Largo. The event will begin Friday, 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and will continue on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7, from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., respectively. In addition, this proposal will include activities for the whole family.

Adult Programming

On August 5, the activities will begin with a meeting of Tupper Sex, by Candelea, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In this case, prior registration is required through Later, there will be an opening toast and the 'Sustainable Dreamer 2022' awards ceremony, by the organization and the Association of Young Entrepreneurs (AJE), from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The day will end with a concert by Mel Ömana, at 8:00 p.m.

In the afternoon, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Osh Accesorios will give a bracelet workshop. The activities will continue from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the workshop 'Love me, also in bed', by Inhala Psicología, and the concert by Della Du, from 8:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

For its part, on Sunday the activities will continue with a kokedamas workshop (11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.), another on pilates taught by Das Sport Clinic (11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.) and a third on brand digitization, by Paola González (3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

Children's programming

The activities aimed at children will begin on Friday, at 5:30 p.m., with a balloon twisting workshop, led by Yaiza Rodríguez. On Saturday, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., there will be the talk 'Without prizes or punishments', given by Ithaisa Rodríguez and addressed to parents. From 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. the little ones can enjoy the face painting activity, which will also be carried out by Yaiza Rodríguez. From 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sara Vera will offer the talk ‘Knowing the signs for babies’ and from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. a new balloon twisting workshop will be held.

On Sunday, meanwhile, the children's activities will continue with the 'Signed storytelling', by Sara Vera (12:00 to 1:00 p.m.), and Yaiza Rodríguez will also carry out face painting (4:00 to 5:00 p.m.).
