The average daytime temperature in July in Tenerife is listed as 24.3 degrees centigrade. This is, of course, an average for the entire island. And, no matter where you are on the island, it is sure to be better than the English equivalent, given as a maximum of 20.6 degrees centigrade.

The sea temperature in Tenerife in July averages at 21C.

The average is NO days with rain in July. Better than the 8.5 days in the UK.

Tenerife Fiestas in July

In July are held the Fiestas del Carmen, which are celebrated most largely in Puerto de la Cruz in the north of Tenerife. The effigy of the Virgin del Carmen is carried through the streets to the harbour, where it is then boarded onto a boat, for a “sea parade” - the Embarkation of the Virgen del Carmen - and a ceremony to bless local fishermen.

On July 25th, the Tenerife capital, Santa Cruz, celebrates the anniversary of its proud victory over English Admiral, Horatio Nelson, whose failed attempt on Santa Cruz, on July 25th, 1797, cost him his right arm. See: Where Admiral Nelson Lost His Arm
