Traditional Fiestas in Fasnia

San Valentín: February country fiestas in Fuente Nueva La Zarza
Mª Auxiliadora or Fiesta de Los Faroles: 3rd week of May in Plaza la Zarza
Día de La Cruz: 3rd May in Plaza de La Cruz del Roque
San Isidro and Sta. María de la Cabeza: 2nd week of May.
San Antonio: 13th June country fiesta in Monte de Fasnia
Nuestra Señora del Carmen: 3rd week of July in the Plaza de La Zarza
San Joaquín and Santa Ana: 3rd week in August
San Roque: 3rd week in September in the Plaza del Roque
Nuestra Señora del Carmen: 4th week of September in Las Eras
Nuestra Señora del Rosario: 2nd week of October
San Andrés: November country fiesta in Monte de la Zarza
San Silvestre and Hermano Pedro: 4th week of December in La Sombrera

During the fiestas in honour of San Joaquín (in August) and in honour of the Virgen del Rosario (in October) the ancestral Danza de las Cintas takes place, with colorful ribbons attached to a central pole while dancing to the sound of drum and flute.
