The biggest celebrations are the Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de La Luz in September, but all of the following take place in the district throughout the year:

- Romería de San Isidro: Third Sunday in May.
- San Felipe: Last Sunday in May in Chirche.
- San Juan y Nuestra Señora de La Paz: 24 and 25 June in Chío.
- Nuestra Señora del Carmen: 1st & 2nd wk of July in Vera de Erques.
- San Juan y Virgen del Carmen: 1st Sunday of Aug, Playa San Juan.
- Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria: 15 August in Alcalá.
- San Roque: Third Sunday of August in Chiquergue.
- Nuestra Señora del Rosario y La Milagrosa: First Sunday in September in Tejina.
- Feria de Artesanía: Second Sunday of September.
- Fiestas de Nuestra Señora de La Luz y Cristo de la Dulce Muerte: 2nd and 3rd Sunday of September.
- Fiestas del Volcán: Third weekend of November.
- Santa Lucía: The Sunday nearest to 13 December in Fonsalía.
