El Rosario is a municipality in the north eastern part of the island of Tenerife in the Santa Cruz de Tenerife province, on the Canary Islands, Spain. The seat of the municipality is the town La Esperanza, in the mountainous interior of the island.
Fiestas in El Rosario include:
- Fiesta in honour of San Amaro, Santa Lucía y San Sebastián: On the Sunday after 15th January in Machado.
- Fiesta in honour of San Isidro Labrador and Santa María de la Cabeza: in El Chorillo on the Sunday nearest to 15th May.
- Fiesta de San Juan: with the traditional bonfires on the night of 23rd June in Tabaiba and on the Playa de La Nea.
- Exaltación de la Santa Cruz and romería del Santo Hermano Pedro: in Llano del Moro on the 1st Sunday of July.
- Nuestra Señora del Carmen: 16th July in Boca Cangrejo, Radazul and Varadero
- Romería de Nra Señora de La Esperanza: 1st Sunday in August
- Nuestra Señora del Rosario: Around 7th October
- Nuestra Señora de los Dolores: 2nd Sunday of October in Las Rosas, Lomo Pelado and Las Barreras
