The Government of the Canary Islands reports that the islands have obtained 58 Blue Flag awards in the 2022 edition (actually six less than in 2021). Of these, 54 are beaches and four marinas. Twelve of the awarded beaches are in Tenerife:
- Adeje: El Duque and Torviscas.
- Arona: El Camisón and Las Vistas.
- Garachico: El Muelle and Natural Pools of El Caletón.
- Guía de Isora: Playa de la Jaquita.
- Icod de los Vinos: San Marcos.
- Los Realejos: Socorro.
- San Cristóbal de La Laguna: Natural Pools of Bajamar and Arenisco.
- Tacoronte: La Arena (Mesa del Mar).
To these must be added the Real Club Náutico de Tenerife (Royal Nautical Club) in Santa Cruz, the only marina on the island to receive this distinction.
