Tenerife's Public Holidays for 2023 |
The Government Council of the Canary Islands has approved the calendar of labour holidays for the autonomous community in 2023:
- January 6 - Epifanía del Señor (Epiphany of the Lord)
- February 2 - Virgen de la Candelaria (Candlemas), in Tenerife
- April 6 - Jueves Santo (Holy Thursday)
- April 7 - Viernes Santo (Good Friday)
- May 1 - Fiesta del Trabajo (Workers’ Day)
- May 30 - Día de Canarias (Canary Islands Day)
- August 15 - Asunción de la Virgen (Assumption of the Virgin)
- October 12 - Fiesta Nacional de España (National Day of Spain)
- November 1 - Todos los Santos (All Saints)
- December 6 - Constitución Española (Spanish Constitution)
- December 8 - Inmaculada Concepción (Immaculate Conception)
- December 25 - Natividad del Señor (Christmas Day)
The list does not include January 1, New Year, as it's already on a Sunday.
To these will be added two additional days, specific to each municipal council area, to make up the 14 days public holidays decreed by law.
