The Government of the Canary Islands has approved the labour calendar for 2024, which on this occasion, does not include December 8 - Inmaculada Concepción (Immaculate Conception), as this already falls on a Sunday.
- January 1 - Año Nuevo (New Year)
- January 6 - Epifanía del Señor (Epiphany of the Lord)
- February 2 - Virgen de la Candelaria (Candlemas), in Tenerife
- March 28 - Jueves Santo (Holy Thursday)
- March 29 - Viernes Santo (Good Friday)
- May 1 - Fiesta del Trabajo (Worker's Day)
- May 30 - Día de Canarias (Canary Islands Day)
- August 15 - Asunción de la Virgen (Assumption of the Virgin)
- October 12 - Fiesta Nacional de España (National Day of Spain)
- November 1 - Todos los Santos (All Saints)
- December 6 - Día de la Constitución Española (Spanish Constitution)
- December 25 - Navidad (Christmas Day)
There is also a specific holiday for each island: which is February 2, the feast of the Virgen de la Candelaria, in Tenerife (included in the list above).
To these are added the additional two days of local festivals that by tradition correspond to each municipality, bringing the total to 14 days.
