After the inauguration on Friday, 12 January 2024 and the contests (below), Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2024 in the streets begins on Friday, 9 February 2024, with the Opening Parade and runs through to Sunday, 18 February 2024.
The main day of carnival, we know it as Shrove Tuesday, as you see, falls on the 13th of the month. Whether this is going to be auspicious or inauspicious, I cannot say, but in Hispanic and Greek cultures, instead of Friday, it's Tuesday the 13th (Martes Trece) that's considered bad luck. We'll cross our fingers that it isn't!
The start of carnival in Los Gigantes is usually on the Friday ten days after Shrove Tuesday, which would be on Friday 23 February 2024. Their Carnival Main Parade is usually held in the afternoon of the Sunday, which would be 25 February 2024.
We won't even guess when Los Cristianos carnival will be held, because, unlike others that follow a regular timetable, Arona Council does not. Once available, their dates should generally be found on the town hall's Calendario de Fiestas del Municipio (Calendar of the municipality's festivals) for the relevant year.
According to the Calendario de las Fiestas del Municipio de Arona 2024 (Arona Fiestas Calendar 2024), Carnival in Los Cristianos will take place between 29 Feb and 11 Mar 2024. Their Coso Apoteosis (Carnival Main Parade) is scheduled to take place on Sunday, 10 Mar 2024 (usually starts around 4pm).

Los Gigantes Carnival
Confirmed: Los Gigantes Carnival 2024 - the theme is the African Savannah - is from Friday 23 February to Sunday 3 March 2024, with the Gran Coso Apoteósico del Carnaval de Los Gigantes (Main Parade) from the La Pescadora roundabout to the Plaza Buganvilla, on Sunday, February 25, starting at 5:00 p.m.
Los Cristianos Carnival
UPDATE: The dates of Carnival in Los Cristianos HAVE BEEN CHANGED AGAIN. Now, according to the same Calendario de las Fiestas del Municipio de Arona 2024 (Arona Fiestas Calendar 2024), and confirmed on their poster (left) and via Arona Fiestas, will now take place from 7 Mar to 18 Mar 2024, with the Coso Apoteosis (Carnival Main Parade) scheduled for Sunday, 17 Mar 2024 (usually starts around 4pm). The theme of this carnival is LOS AÑOS 80 (The 1980's).
By not sticking to a schedule and, year after year, either not confirming dates or changing them at the very last minute, Los Cristianos (Arona) show an arrogant level of contempt for the visitors (upon whom their economy relies).
