There is one public holiday this month on October 12 for the Fiesta Nacional de España (National Day of Spain), also known as Día de la Hispanidad.

La Librea de Valle Guerra - which includes a re-enactment of the naval battle of Lepanto - is held once a year on the Saturday nearest to 7 October (the 7th is a Sat in 2023) in Valle de Guerra, San Cristóbal de La Laguna.
Around October 25th, Buenavista del Norte celebrates it’s main annual fiestas around the central plaza of the town, with a calendar of events in honour of the town’s patron, Nuestra Señora de los Remedios (Our Lady of the Remedies), who is supposed to have seen off a plague of locusts that devastated the area in 1659.
The Fiestas Patronales Ntra. Sra. de la Encarnación y Santa Úrsula in Adeje includes a Romería celebrated in the Calle Grande in honour of the patrons of Adeje: Santa Úrsula, the Virgen de la Encarnación and San Sebastián. Residents and visitors come together on the second or third Sunday of the month of October to partake in Canarian folklore and gastronomy.
The the Feria de la Almendra (Almond Fair), known as La Gran Majada, in Aripe, Guía de Isora is said to take place around the end of October.
The historic centre of La Laguna will host the celebration of a new edition of the Zombie Walk, on Tuesday, 31 October 2023 a fun event aimed at audiences of all ages.
As part of All Saints' Eve, Halloween, the Plaza del Adelantado will host the free makeup tents, open to the public from 5:00 p.m. to convert anyone who wants to participate in the fourth edition of the Zombie Walk into zombies, or "living dead" popularized by cinema, television, comics and fantasy literature. (You can also participate dressed in costume and make up from home.) The Plaza will be the starting point of the “zombie march”, which begins at 8:00 p.m. with a route towards the Plaza de la Concepción, through Calle Obispo Rey Redondo and back to the starting point on Calle Herradores. After the parade, prizes will be awarded in the Plaza del Adelantado.
